Die Herehuis Guesthouse had the privilege to receive a visit from Coenie De Villiers and be one of the first Guesthouses in Beaufort West to receive a copy of his latest book, “Ons Karoo”.
Coenie De Villiers wrote the book ” Ons Karoo” in conjunction with Deon Meyer who is also very well known for his writing skills as a South African Thriller Novelist. De Villiers started his career in the South African music industry with his first released album, “Skoppensboer” in 1982.
De Villiers continued producing music and garnered three SAMA awards, numerous accolades, including the medal of honor by the South African Council of Arts and Sciences. Coenie de Villiers also presented the TV Show, Kwêla for a collective period of 17 years. Other TV productions included ‘n Ander Wêreld as well as Vat Die Rap.
